Hello and welcome!

I am very excited to support you on this journey ahead. While everything in life changes, our relationship with ourselves is our longest lasting relationship, and thus one to be valued deeply. Some come to therapy wanting to learn specific tools to cope with present day or longstanding challenges. Others want time and space to process events from the past, both recent and remote, and gain introspection. Regardless of the purpose of our sessions, I believe safety and trust in the therapeutic relationship is a key path towards inner healing.

To this end, I offer the opportunity to set clear goals for your personal growth and a flexible set of evidence-based therapeutic modalities to draw from in order to best meet those goals. Clients find that my combination of warmth, directiveness and grounded attunement provide them the safe space they need to explore, clarify and learn how to make lasting, positive change in their lives. I hope to offer this same space to you.

Work on PTSD and trauma symptoms with proven treatment approaches, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). Identify and understand how underlying trauma roots may inform other mental health symptoms. Learn to approach and reconcile your past with compassion, skill and grace.

 

Learn Coping Skills

Empower yourself with skills drawn from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) methods designed to provide a guiding framework for change and acceptance. Get grounded in the present moment and have a set of mindfulness and evidence-based therapy tools ready to help you handle whatever life throws your way.

We all need community to learn, grow, heal, and feel cherished. Discover what you need from yourself and others and have space to reflect on what communities may be best able to support you in your healing process. Learn to set better boundaries, ask for what you need, assert yourself across contexts, and collaborate more effectively with people in your life.
